We believe that all injuries are preventable; we strive for safety perfection which means we are committed to attaining zero incidents. We work to manage all our business processes, from back office to helicopter operations, to make this so. This integrated approach to safety is reflected in all decisions made in the company, under the motto: if you can’t do it safe, don’t do it.
In order to sustain a safety culture we make sure that every employee is aware of its importance from day one and throughout their entire career at NHV. Employees get regular safety trainings and are assessed on their safety behavior during their periodical evaluations. Aside from their own safety behavior we also strongly encourage employees to report every safety matter they come across, as small as it may be. Our simple and anonymous reporting system results in reliable information from our employees’ first-hand experience which is used to optimize our safety measures accordingly.
