Nele Ghesquiere is appointed as the New Chief Financial Officer at NHV Group

Ostend, Belgium – 22 February 2023

NHV Group is pleased to announce that Nele Ghesquiere, the current Vice President of Finance at NHV Group, will take up the position of Chief Financial Officer with immediate effect. This promotion has been made possible after Laurent Verhelst, the former Chief Financial Officer, has decided to leave NHV to pursue other career opportunities.

“I am delighted to be appointed as the new Chief Financial Officer and to continue the great work that Laurent started at NHV Group” says Nele.

Nele has been with the company since 2018, joining as the Group Business Controller. She then became the Vice President of Finance in January 2022 and has had an intrinsic role navigating the company through a turbulent time of growth, helping to transform NHV Group into a top tier player in the helicopter industry, despite the macroeconomic challenges within our market.

NHV Group CEO, Thomas Hütsch stated: “I have had the pleasure of working alongside Nele for several years where she has not only demonstrated her vast competency but also her passion for NHV. Nele is the right person to join the leadership team and to create a positive and successful future for NHV.”

He adds “I’d like to personally thank Laurent for his strong leadership, strategic capabilities and financial and international expertise during his tenure.”
