Steffen Bay is Chief Executive Officer of the NHV Group.
Steffen has 20 years of experience across all aspects of the helicopter services value chain. Previous appointments include EADS, Eurocopter, Airbus America, ERA Helicopters and Aeroleo Aero Taxi. Most recently he was responsible for Sales and Relationship Management for Waypoint Leasing in Latin America.
Laurent joined NHV in 2021. As the CFO for the Group, he is responsible for the overall financing strategy, as well as controlling, accounting, treasury and cash planning. In this role, he manages a team in Oostende and works closely together with the finance managers in the different countries.
Laurent Verhelst is a senior executive with a proven track record and deep financial expertise that stems from more than 25 years of experience in senior positions with successful multi-national organizations. Before joining NHV, he served as Head of Finance and IT for the Western Europe division of the HILTI Group. Prior to that, he worked at Stanley Black & Decker, Dow Chemical and Paribas.
As NHV's COO, Thomas Hütsch is developing, implementing and ensuring the compliance of group standards in the domains of fleet, operations, supply chain, part 145, part 21 and other maintenance-related activities.
Until recently, Thomas Hütsch worked at ADAC (Allgemeiner Deutscher Automobil Club) in Germany where he held the positions of Managing Director of ADAC Luftfahrt Technik GmbH and ADAC HEMS Academy GmbH. In this position, he was responsible for full operation, business policy and further development of these two innovative companies.
Prior to his work at ADAC, Thomas Hütsch worked at Airbus Helicopters and held positions as Vice President & Service Chief Engineer Commercial Helicopters, Director Repair & Overhaul Customer Support, Program Manager Bo105, EC135 & BK117 family, Safety and Reliability Engineer and Certification and Flight Test Engineer.
Michal joined NHV in 2013 and since then he held several roles within the organization. Most recently, he was leading the Program Management Office and Operations department. Today, as Chief Technical and Innovation Officer, he is responsible for developing, maintaining and improving NHV's excellence in fields of digitization and innovation.
Before joining NHV, Michal gained his extensive experience in aviation by integrating and consulting on large and complex systems supporting key business processes for airlines, aircraft manufacturers, maintenance, repair and overhaul stations with a geographical spread from the Far and Middle East through Europe and North America.
